Injured Body Part vs Non-accident Injury to Other Body Part

There are times when life seems overwhelming; you don't want to go back to the doctor for more treatment. Your left knee was injured in a car accident; but now your right knee is hurting you.
You make an appointment with us and we say, "Are you relying on your right knee to make up for the injured left knee (can't put much weight on the left knee): In other words, your right is now your weight-bearing knee and it is injured as well."

This same issue arises when using non-injured hand, shoulder, leg etc. We would make certain that you tell the doctor that your whole body is compensating for the injury that you suffered.
